ordered the gaiter and surround off rob_lee a few days back and just got round to fitting them. the gaiter arrived today again as i sent the first one back because they sent me the wrong size.

Vauxhalls have that weird surround at the bottom of the gaitors for a reason.
It all gets caught up in the shifter otherwise.

if you think the vegas interior is bad then youve never seen a trip interior, orange and blue swirls what were they thinking

i think you can vauchall richbrook ones if that makes sense but looks far too complicated to take off and fit lol. maybe in time i will. need to save up for a bit tho seem to be spending so much money on very little.

i got some black door pins through the post this morning
also got some gaiters made by someone off here there on already
need a new gearknob like.
im not a fan of the surround but the gaiter looks good, as does the wheel

tis a point, i thought the plastic vauxhall surround has the bit in that you have to lift over to get in reverse?

Yeah, the yellowy/white frame inside does that kurt. Theres also a stiff section on the standard gaitor to lift the leather up over the frame and stop it getting munched. I found that if you arrange the leather in a certain way, there's no problems though.
