I crashed a friends ka after a 50mph take off over a crest.. hit a big puddle, spun into the bank of the hill... apart from the grass and dirt the wee bugger survived dispite my best efforts to kill it.

My mums one is like its on rails compared to my corsa, it still handles better than my corsa when the corsa is lowered 60mm. Its a Lux model so everything you can get extra is there Pisses me off you cant put your elbow on the ledge on the door tho, its only about 1cm wide corsa one is about 2 inch

Are they still making these? There like 11 years old now, with an engine design that's even older (Pretty sure there a fiesta floorpan underneath, so cutting edge Mk 3 1980's design!). Interior in the first ones were gash - don't know if they up dated it since?

Never worked out why they stuck with the engine and didnt put the 1.25 Zetec engine in that was apparently quite good

I've always wondered this - they haven't even face lifted it in its life time. It must be ready for a change otherwise it isn't going to match the current Ford range - it's bound to get goggly lights soon.

I believe they have the 1.3 8v Endura engine that is found in some MK4 Fiestas. The only reason they wouldn't have fit the 1.25 Zetec engine, which were good engines, was that it would have been stepping on the Fiestas shoes.

I once slept in my car, after being out on the piss - woke up to find some silly bint in a Ka had parked across me' blocking me in

I went round all the shops that shared this carpark until I found the owner, she reversed the car straight into a lamp post, then in shock stalled it and kangeroo'd into a wall

Nothing to do with ford Ka's - but a mildly amusing story
