Tomorrow for me is all day working on the corsa. First of all, im going to debadge it, but will I take off the bumpstrips? (Sorry, haven't got a decent picture of it, will take many decent photos tomorrow)

Then, I think ill paint the drums, black. Will i need to sand them down a little first, or just straight on with the hammerite? WIll i need primer or anything for the drums?
Next, a filter. Theres a Green cotton filter, & a pipercross type in the shed, which would be better?

Then it will be type for a damn good wash & polish, should be looking tidy then!
Oh aye, Ive got colour coded GSI front arches for it, might put them on too, but i cant be fucked taking out the inner arch etc

Is it just me, or are the first two images not working?? None of my photos seem to be working, something wrong?

Sand down the drums and put on some zinc primer. Will stop them going rusty in a few years time. Technically you don't need to according to Hammerite - but I have seen a lot of drums rust when people just slap it on...

I had a pipercross one, sprayed the cleaner on it when i took it off the corsa ready to go on the cooper.
mate lit a fag then threw the match away, set the filter on fire. Gutted.
