I have lexus lights on my car because the standard red ones didn't compliment my kandy purple paint in the slightest!! tbh I never really liked the lexus lights but they just looked better than the red ones!! I don't even take pictures of the cars rear becuase it looks shite  not smoked, not standard not the quad ones not lexus what else?

trailer rear lights, like what that guy had with the light blue corsa with a fully smoothed boot and lights.
lol. only joking get clear ones painted the colour of your car.

Yes I thought of that but wouldn't I get pulled over all the time and is it legal?? and oceansoul the ones you mean are still red!!

wot about just the clear rear lights?? well actually they're white!!!
tbh your best option is to go colour coded, and i think aslong as your indicators are still amber, brakes / fogs / sides are still red and reverse is still white ie the light that shines through all should be legal.
my mates were totally black to match his black corsa, looked the biz and i think they were heat treated all done proffessionally and the light that shined through was fine. he never had any trouble at all.

shall I just paint over the lexus lights? I don't suppose it makes a difference what the lights are underneath? I don't think I've got any paint left though and will be a nightmare to mix it again cost a few hundred!

 should always make sure you have some spare!!!!
i would look into it a bit more, find out before you spend £££'s mixing paint and painting them that the light will shine through, oh and from clareF's exp take the lights off before doing it

I don't reckon the reverse lights would show through and the indicators would only just! ahhh this stupid custom colour i made has stopped me from doing so many things to my car!! grr

well you should be able to, other wise smooth it off, weld it up and put some leds in the bumper!!!! LOL!!
