Im flying from here in Queenstown to Auckland for an interview on Sunday.

The interview is for a crew position on a luxury yacht.

Should I be successful, i'll be abandoning NZ of which I've 85% completed, and setting sail to travel most of the South Pacific Islands, S.E. Asia and across to South America. Dream job for me. If I put in some decent sea miles I should return to the UK after about 9 months at sea!

Keep your fingers crossed for me!

It's an informal interview, yet im still nervous! Good thing is as part of the interview I get to sail for a few days too around Auckland and in the Bay Of Islands, can't wait!

my stomach doesn't agree with boats too much, but sounds awesome, hope it all goes well. also get some nice pics of all the places

I used to deliver race yachts a couple of times a year - w'd sail them from Southampton to wherever they were required; moneys okay but its such a laugh - however hard work and watch lengths

Are you experienced? or have certification?
