or he could just act all hard and bowl up to the bouncers and get in without i.d? usually works for some people lol.

my mate got told he didn't look like the person on his driving license (it was him). so they asked for a bank card to prove the name and let him in. dont know if a birth certificate is the same though.

i've been ID'd twice in my life, once when i was 16 and the other was about a year ago when i was 23. Suppose it depends on where you are goin as to wether your mate will be ok. When i was underage i could always get in bars on wednesdays coz they didnt have door staff midweek. Could always try splitting the group up into 2's coz there is less chance the bouncers will pick on you than if there is a big group. But as Luigi said they should ID anyone who looks under 21.
Have a good un tho pal.

Have his parents not put an embarrassing photo of him in the local paper to celebrate his 18th?

Just an idea

I know what you mean, i went to town when i was 16/17, but know im old enough i wish they would ID every1.

Bit hypocritical for either of us to say that every1 should be id's to stop young un's tho really
