My mum is going to a funeral in London on thursday evening / friday morning and we know when you buy your tickets a day or 2 before you travel they are £££££££££££££££

any one know any websites i can check to see how much tickets are?

They will all be expensive especially peak times.

Best bet is thetrainline.com/co.uk (can;t remember) but i'd travel thurs night for a cheaper option (or after 10am on fri morning).

i would recommend thetrainline.

i'm going Cardiff to Britol on Sunday with my gf (treating her to shopping at Vribbs Causeway) we both have young persons return TOTAL = £12

i use www.thetrainline.com all the time

the further you book in advance the better the offer and also it lets you know when singles are cheaper

ive just booked trip to london from norwich in march and it was £12 return (2 x £6 singles) ive got reserved seating and the tickets came the next day

all booked now... like ppl have said to get them cheap they need to be booked well in advance!

don't think its too bad really got one ofr thursday evening in first class. gets there in just over 2 hours

I have got to book 8 tickets for Ipswich to Cardiff (both ways) for the end of June / start of July - should be fun for me
