I sold an item on ebay on behalf of my brother, it sold for £18.85, for which I still have the cheque, incashed.

The item was sent from my brother's work last week some time, and returned to the depot the next day, after being signed for as 'not accepted'

Re-delivery was arranged, but the item turned up at my brother's work a few days later.

It has since been dispatched again

Today, the buyer has opened a dispute on ebay, even though I have explained the situation.

What should I do? send the cheque back at the risk of them having the item and trying to pull a fast one? or leave it and wait?

I cba with negative feedback from another item of my brother's, it looks bad enough already

help

FFS, I hate people like this.

Explain to him that there are more than two people involved in the transaction due to couriers etc.

Problems are bound to occur. People need to be more patient, can't you just wait and see what happens with this delivery, if it comes back, send his cheque back.

To be fair, it has been 37 days

Thing is, we sent it straight away, it was returned to the depot, we arranged re-delivery, it came to us then it's gone out again last week, but I haven't got a clue what's going on with it now, it could be on its way back to us

He seems like he's going to be a bit of a cunt and leave neg feedback though, he's a smarmy bastard.

"It's been more than a month now and it's still not here. I've not even had any attempted delivery so I don't understand what the problem is.

I'm at the stage now where I feel like giving up on the whole thing as it's a massive hassle.

Please arrange for my cheque to be sent back as I think this whole deal has turned sour."

I haven't taken money from him or anything, the cheque is not cashed

I told him to e-mail my brother, he said no

tell him to get to fuck, cash the cheque, run away with your earnings and hide for a good few years so the police won't find you. then visit him and poo on his face

Courier has said 'Item cannot be delivered' no other explaination.

I'm not cashing the cheque, I'm sending it back because I CBA with the hassle of it all anymore.

I got another email today saying the item has been returned to the depot again, so we'll get it back, and if we try again, it's obviously not going to get there.

I would want more info than 'cannot be delivered'

If its his fault then he owes you a few quid for failed delivery!!

I think it's the courier's fault tbh, can't see why the bloke would decline the delivery twice and get annoyed?

Parceline are obviously rubbish

out of interest what is it??

the only reason they would be sending soething back is because the person was not in...

when you get it back just send him the cheque and ur proof of postage. should sort it.

and if u can be arsed ring parceline and ask em wtf is going on

It was a smoke machine Mark.

I've emailed the proof of postage screenshots to show I'm not messing him about, and the cheque will be going in the post tomorrow.

I'm just hacked off with it, the last item my brother sold was apparently damaged and he didn't mention it in the ad, so there's neg feedback for it

Fucks sake

My brother got the address wrong.

It was 'number' 'tree' court, 'tree' avenue

the two 'tree' bits were the same and my brother sent it to the avenue, not the court

Just need to know if they want it delivering to the right place now...
