When I turn the heated mirrors on, they don't seem to turn off unless i turn the engine off. Is this what should happen, or is there a time delay type thing that turns them off after a set time ?? I've tried pressing the button again, but the light remained on (so i assume the mirrors were still on ??), so they don't turn off that way.... So my question really is, is the switch knackard ??
Cheers
Steve

I'm pretty sure the Vauxhall manual says 15mins to see if they're still on just put your hand near them, you can feel the heat!

Sounds like your heated mirror relay needs replacing mate if they stay on for too long.

i didnt realise what that button did untill a mate of mine with an SRI told me (about 6months of having the car). the thing is, i used to press it for some unknown reason when i was ajusting the mirrors, i sort of guessed it fine tuned the mirrors movments hahaha. how sad is that?
But anyways yeh 15mins and they should switch off
