hero I ruined my Burton Baron ES like that haha... flew off a cliff into powder and not known to me a nice little rock:

And now it is mounted on my wall - still use it for powder days though and if i try something silly near rocks/cliffs.

How much was the board worth?

Nothing wrong with that board. One of my pairs of skis doesn't even have any edges on them any more and they still work...

pmfsl ed that's a right mess.... rusty as well! you still use them?

Aj. i've got my 3 boards mounted above my bed mate:

I used 2 of these:

http://www.focusdiy.co.uk/icat/c440101 (or near enough)

to hold it along the bottom. You can buy them from most DIY stores, look in the Garden/Garage storage area, they're designed for holding spades and various other things....

Then to hold them in at the top I made basically a screw with a bent piece of bar I could twist down to cover the top once they're in so they dont fall:

Not sure if that makes sense I suppose if you're not fussed you could simply use a long screw and bend it at the end, or even another hook but only screw it in with one screw so it can rotate.

Use them all the time. They still do the job - which is going down rails. Don't need edges for that. In fact, it's better not to have them... Did some urban assault at Uni - we brought up a couple of tonnes of snow and set up a rail in a few places. Accidently ski'd over a road a few times
