Me and the mrs are thinking of booking to go here for Nov this year.
The pictures look amazing, so do the prices

i went to cancun last year with the wife it was spring break so full of prick americans that cant drink n fight like girls fuggin pussys
i hated the place the beer was shitty corona and they dont have redbull

I've been... good laugh but the fat americans bring it down a notch or two.
Still if your with your mates and up for a laugh it doesn't matter 
Diving isn't too bad either if that floats your boat

Cancun is quite exp IIRC... quite some distance too so the flights cost a fair bit

Americans who can't drink, americans who kept asking me about soccer grr.
Mexicans trying to do you out of your spending money right left and centre because they think you are rich. Paying $45 for all you can drink clubs and then asked for tips everytime you try and get a drink. Being man-handled by wiater type people because they wont let you get your own drinks as they want to get them for you and charge you for the service. A tour guide said Cancun translated as the "Snake-pit". lol.
Nonetheless it was a great holiday, hotel was fantastic, weather amazing and the caribean beautiful. Give it a try.

I went a few years back. Stay in one of the 'Palace' hotels if you can.
I was in the Moon Palace, jacuzzi's in the rooms, and the Hoff was there when I was
