Nearly bought one of these last year. Nice drive with a bit of power and it worked out cheaper on fuel and insurance for me.

A few people on here have them. Lots on Corsa-c now as well, getting more popular as people with low engine Cs move up and go for diesel power rather than the 1.8.

Had mine RRd and made 115bhp (with no mods) - supposed to be 100bhp standard. Should be able to exceed the 125bhp of the new Corsa D 1.7 CDTi quite easily by adding a tuning box, etc.

The one on AT there though is not worth anywhere near £7500 though - £6000 would be a good price, £6500 with a good dealer warranty for an 04 with reasonable miles which that one is. And that car is ultra blue, not aruba.

I got mine last July for £7000 from a Vauxhall main dealer, same as that car except 5-door and had only 17500 miles on it, 12 months warranty (rest of manufacturer's and NetworkQ combined) and v.glad I had the warranty when the engine kept cutting out and Vauxhall had to spend thousands trying to find the fault and fix it.

Running great now Fuel economy isn't fantastic but spend about the same on fuel as when I had the 1.0 C but this one goes a whole lot faster and more comfortably.

massively overpriced

I paid £5200 about 8 months ago for a minter 2005 ultra blue 1.8 sri with 21k on it.

lots around for a lot less money if you look in the right places.
