get one day insurance. Cant remember the site but was posted up on here not too long back, costs £21 for 24hrs cover IIRC.

Get the owner to drive it for you, when you get to yours give him a lift back.

you gotta be 21yrs old for day insurance.

you could get insured on it an hour before you go get it then if you dont like it cancel the insurance before they take the deposit.

Go look at it properly, if you want it leave a deposit and sort out insurance tomorrow. 30 miles isnt worth getting in a twist about

Thats not far! If you want the car that bad give him a lift back, otherwise find a friend who is insured third party on any car as I am.

Can you not just phoine you insurance co. there and then to swap it over if you buy it??

I wouldn't buy a car there and then and drive it away, especially not after looking at it at night.

Look at it, leave a deposit if you like it, then check it over again another day...

so you have to be already insured when u buy a car? over here they allow you to drive the car home without insurance after you buy it!
