What year did the better 65bhp 1.2 engines come in to production?
Im going on about the 8v.

I thought the 1.2 8v was 49 bhp or something. 65bhp is a big improvement.

the 1.2 8 valve will be 1993 in the corsa unless vauxhall used it in any other car

Well i have an 8v but its 96 P. I was reading in help zone and someone was saying the later 1.2 8v engines are 60ishbhp?

1.2 8v are 45bhp, the 16v ones are 64bhp!

Doubt it. I have a P-Reg one and it still get's beaten by HGV's.

Jesus christ. I remember having 44bhp of raw power Round it upto 50bhp down the pub.

1.2 8v spi = 45bhp
1.4 8v spi = 60bhp

My 1.2 16v is 67bhp - its nippy but still struggles, I thought all the 1.2 8v's are all 45bhp

I know that the facelife period was 96. Iv got a pre-facelift too.
