post 97 lock surround for the boot and will it fit a pre 97 model?

The only difference is pre97 has a sticker for the badge and the post97 has a chrome griffin

Theres 2 little pins on the back of the badge what have to be pushed in for the badge to stick on. I think I have one I'll have a look in the shed.

The old style surround has a round recess where the black vaux badge sits. The new style one is flush apart from to little holes which the chrome badge pushes in to.
