Im only paying £640 fully comp on my Astra Turbo, im 22 with 3yr NCD, thats with Elephant, my work - NU Direct said I had to be over 25 before they would insure me on it!

Only thing bout Elephant is high APR charges - cheaper to pay it in one go.

yep. i'm now 19. renewal in april i think so i'll have a years ncb as it got fucked up on my first car as i had to cancel it after 8 months so i lost my nc's from there and when i got my astra it had to go in my mums name, so i started off my own insurance when i got the ibiza cupra. hopefully start to see it come down soon!!!!

my first car was a 1.4 S1 106 xsi, i paid £1400 TPFT in my name, when it kept going pop and i decided to give it away to a mate i tried swapping cars on my policy to my aunties 5 dr, 1.4 mk3 astra CD, due to it being a CD adrian flux wouldn't insure me on it at 17 so i had to cancel it and do it in my mums name which still cost me £1400 fuckin quid, then i paid £1800 on the cupra!!!!!! I really hate insurance companies with a passion, but you have to have so i'm gonna stop crying!!!!
