Im sorry to start another thread bout this, but as above.

Had a quick search and couldnt find much

Basically insuring a XE at 18 with 1 yr NCB and (hopefully) IAM qualification.

Any luck d'ya think?

Welly, would be better to tell us what the maximum you have to spend on insurance then people will try and say wether thats possible or not.

Well so far I have £800 saved up, starting a full timje job for a gap year so monthly payment will be fine... Max i'd wanna pay is £1500?

gonna be more like 2k now-a-days i recon, insurance was a lot cheaper a few years back

Nah, ill be looking to get it within the next few months - had enough of the 1.2 16v engine

put it this way matey, im twenty been driving since the end of 04 got one claim in 2005 and no bonus and i was looking at around 1700 tpft

im paying just under 2k think its £1984 tpft at 18(just turned 18) on an xe with no years no claims

i'm 18 and insure a 1.6 for £1100 TPFT, 1 years named driving and pass plus

You'd get insurance but, I hate to think of 18 year olds driving 150bhp cars if i'm honest.

Im proud to say Im the only person in the 6th form here that hasnt crashed! And I was driving my dads 140bhp A3 TDi before I was 17 off road...
