Hello.
I was just wondering if anyone on here had managed to save money with Adrian Flux, as a premium or non-premium member, and if so how much did you manage to save on your Insurance through quoting your CS details. For any engine size, or if possible if your quote was for a 2.0 corsa.
Thanks for any info guys.

Got online quote off Flux 850 quid, phoned to confirm, lad said 850 quid, phoned up to check why they hadn't took payment after paying on there website, lad told me that it was cos I hadn't confirmed so went through all my details again then he quoted me 1350 quid.
I asked him why it had gone up, he said they didn't know about the TS10 I've got (when I confirmed the first time he told me that it was on there). When I told him this he said it definately wasn't on before. I told him again it was so he told me that the rates had changed also.
Rates change = 500 quid rise
I then kindly told him to cancel the payment and "go away"

If you did tell them all your details and they gave you a quote then it's their obligation by law to insure for the said amount. As the phone conversation is legally binding. All insurance companies record phone calls, you can use this to prove you told them the correct details and the mistake was on their part.

I got an original quote earlier today from them for £1200 to insure a 2.0 corsa. I phoned up later on to check what details they needed from me for the policy, this time it was a different person - she checked the details for me and told me i has been completely misquoted, and that it would infact be £1500. This included the reduction for the CS membership and she said she had taken off the admin fee to try and make it cheaper for me.
I was happy with the £1200 earlier, so slightly disappointed now they have said £1500 to me. I will probably end up taking it though as its the best quote i can get.

i think one thing i can say is that the prices are different for each person you speak to at flux, i spoke to one guy and noted his name and made sure i spoke to him everytime i got a quote if i could. when i didnt speak to him other peoples quotes were alot higher.
it is up to them at there end how much they quote you as i bet alot of it is on commision and department profits and bonuses etc. so alot of the people on the end of the phone will quote as high as they can i reckon.

I got the reference number, but forgot to get the guys name, which thinking now i really should have done. Do you think i will be able to get my original quote again, or am i just stuck with the £1500 quote she gave me now?
You can't get a new quote with someone else there when they have already one quote saved for you can you?
