Well, sort of

Found a company on ebay making these. Based on a 1995 impreza so it is 70% subaru and is still classed as one for registration purposes. Though kit car insurance could apply as it does not resemble an impreza on the outside just underneath and all the running gear.

Think it's not bad, you get a different looking car and the lovely burble of a flat 4 8). It also retains 4 seats so it is a 2+2 coupe having not been converted to mid-engined. If i had the resources i think i would contemplate owning one of these. Quality engineering and something that you rarely see on the road. It would be a daily drive aswell just treat it like an impreza!!

Oh yeh the cost £14k or you can buy the guys personnally owned replica for £16K. Mutch better than a so called hot hatch from renault or ford and it costs the same........

What does everyone think?

The one on Ebay the other week was better, at least it had a ford engine, in the right place.

Think id prefer to spend £14k either a proper scooby or a ford & not some fake mix up of the 2

Different though, got to appreciate what these guys can knock together
