Hi all,
fogive me if this has been asked before but are the pre-facelift Corsa B lower ball joints a different size than the Facelift ones.
I have just bought a 1996 P reg corsa and it has a rediculous amount of negative camber on the front wheels. The tyres are scrap and the spare in the boot is through to the wire.
I am thinking that someone has put new ball joints on it, but used facelift ones in error.
Everything else looks in good order such as struts, suspension arm and bushes.
Any help would be good, thanks

I will have a look for a part number tomorrow.
The car is totally standard except for some really cool performance vauxhall seatbelt shoulder pads and some blue racing seat covers.
Got it uber cheap from a boy who lost his licence to drink drving.
Has anyone ever had any similar problems like this?
Thanks

that wouldnt affect it anyway as they are identical exept the bolt spacing. plus that would mean that the tie bars and brackets would have been changed as well.

Hmm not sure then. Would have thought it would be quite easy to see what was wrong if its that bad. Nothing bent at all?

Nothing seems out if place at all really, its a confusing one. Maybe its just the ball joints are really bad or totally nackered shockers or strut tops???
Just trying to list things. Ive not driven the car as its got no tax or MOT, it was just driven out of the guys drive onto my trailer and into my garage. Never had it a proper spin.

If the balljoints had worn bad enough to silly camber they would have fallen apart so i'd forget them. How much camber is silly camber, you had it read?
What sort of shape are the rubber topmounts in? Have any of the holes on the shocker leg-to-hub mounts been elongated (modified)?
I'd try and get part numbers off of the wishbones and ball joints to confirm they are correct for the chassis year.
Trade club does list two differing sorts of balljoints and wishbones (seemed to change around the face-lift time) but i'm unsure of how they differ.
Only other thing could be what sort of shape are the wishbone bushes in?
