got round to taking them off today
taking them off to fund my let project lol they are up for sale

started like this








standard inlet was a right twat to get back on but got there in the end



after a while my mate came round to show me his new rims what you think



started to get cold and dark so packed up and crammed everything into the engine bay

all thats left to do is rewire the started ecu/loom back in and put the lambda sensor in my exhaust then its done. just gotta clean up the TB's before i put them on ebay.

only ever managed a 14.1 due to gearbox issues could easy have done a 13 with a different box but oh well.

out of interest how well do they run from cold on a day 2 day basis etc?

if they are well set up and the map is good, i.e. the cold start and water temp correction tables are good then there is no reason why they wont be as good, if not better than a standard c20xe

first start up is a bit crap you have to hold the throttle open to keep it running, once its warm it never misses a beat. got used to it in the end, used it almost every day and its been fine
