Get Vauxhall ones. Also, check the CV boots for signs of wear, if so renew those and the grease inside.

I went the failsafe way and renewed all 4 for £200

i took my hub carriers to the autofactors and he gave me corsa gsi bearings. Took it to garage and the hubs didnt fit (bearing too small for hub but right size for carrier) so i took it back to the autofactors and he gave me cavalier bearings that fit the motorsport hub as well as the carrier. It may have just been the way my car was setup using cavalier hub carriers but im not 100% sure.

Perhaps the carriers were machined out but most conversions use a Corsa bearing.

Anyone got a full list of parts required, I'm slowly gathering bits and bobs but I don't want to start ripping my engine out fit an XE and then find out I've missed bits off my shopping list.

Nice selection of parts there Phil, tad bigger than my pile at the moment.

Looking good so far, but to me if your going to all that expense it would be worthwhile replacing the outer CV's while your at it.. They tick a fair bit of punishment and I wouldn't be putting old ones on just for them to break.
