Personally, I don't see the attraction with the 106 GTI's but loads of people do. Apparently they're good on the 'twisties'.

Yea 106 GTI's are supposed to be really good at handling, same with the 205 GTI. I wouldn't mind either.
And about the pedals being close. I don't know about the corsa C, but on my b the pedals are fairly cost in my 1l. I'm driving with the metal base pedals atm
