Just a genrall question really, not specific, but should be of intrest to users

if something is of a low offset, like 35 for example, does maching 5mm make it et40, or not ?

So you want to machine 5mm off a set on ET35 wheels to make them et40?

In theory, although you have to take into account the fact that there might not be enough metal there...

For example, Compomotive have a 'hub' which is about 25mm thick, no matter what offset.

Some wheels you can do it, some you can't, as the bolt holes would be weaker.

What wheels are you after?
