does it make any difference in terms of power? will there be any decrease? or the 1.6 engine power remains the same?

My mate put a 1.8 head on a 2.0 and it didnt make any difference

valves are bigger in the 1.6 head

It would be an X16XEL basically, but with a slightly different inlet manifold.

you'd probably not really notice the difference between it and an X16XE

ports in the head are different as ar 1 of the cams.

on a standard engine you wont see much difference anyway.

what was that post the other day about some guy with a 1.4 head on his 1.6 and it wasnt running right im sure i didnt imagine it
