170mph? What mods has he done then to do that? Can't see any 310bhp Scooby or Evo doing that sort of speed

my brothers 2.2 impreza p1 did 176 was off the clock but road angel said 176

Find that hard to believe personally. I'd probably see 160-165 in mine max.

Astra VXRs running stage 2 are seeing 163mph at bruntingthorpe and still pulling....

Didn't Tims LET claim a 174mpg with 310bhp odd, and its as areodynamic as a brick with wind deflectors... I know Akeemkings done 164mph with a boost issue as well.

As a comparison, a 550bhp Classic Wagon (Running a heavily modified STi engine) was timed at 174mph over 1.25miles at Scooby Shootout in 2004.
