Just wondering how far touristy things such as the Great Wall and the Terracotta (sp) Army is from Beijing airport?
Will be stopping off in China soon when changing flights and wondering whether to delay the transfer by a day to give me some sightseeing time.

It's all quite close. You can get a guide who will drive you around in a minivan for a day. Then you can get a load of chinese people chasing after you asking for photos of you with your children because they have never seen a white person before in person.

I've been.
Best bet is to follow a tourist group thing otherwise, you'll get bum raped by the locals as Ed has mentioned.
Enjoy the drive whilst you can... They have a tendancy to not give a monkey about traffic rules
