He's only 21 and such a sound lad Dropped out of uni in his final year.. He went to less lectures than me last semester, we were wondering what was wrong with him as he loves his work.

Just makes you realise how lucky you actually are!

Fingers crossed for him. If it's been diagnosed early enough, he'll hopefully be ok. I wish him well

I've got a friend (20 year old) same as your mate, she was at Uni and doing really well. She started taking nose bleeds this time last year, went to the doc never thinking for a minute it was anything serious, but was diagnosed within 2 days as having leukemia

She's been battling it ever since, and been really ill at times, had 3 courses of chemo. Had her treatment stopped twice cos she wasn't strong enough to take anymore, lost her hair, developed infections, been confined to a wheel chair, and tbh at times I've thought she wasn't going to get better..............but only yesterday I was talking to her sister, and she's made a great improvement over the last month.

So don't loose hope, its amazing what can be done

Its been tough for her family and friends too. She isn't a really close friend of mine, just someone who I knew from school. And she used to come into my work when passing to pass on all the girlie gossip and have a laugh!!

It's sad that stuff like that seems to happen to the nicest of people

Hope your friend gets better soon
