Been so long sinse ive filled one out, forgot all the do's & donts
Is it ok on the bit where you put details on previous employers to put the basics in the tiny space provided & maybe at the bottom put a note you have included your CV for a more detailed work history???

i remember hearing about a guy who got a job because they put in skills that they could leap over buildings in a single jump or something, might of been on here i read it...
my cv was pretty crap but i made up for it on the interview, so you can pretty much just put the basics

Last place I worked I remember someone applying for a job & wrote at the top of their CV 'IF CARLSBERG DONE PLUMBERS, I WOULD BE ONE OF THEM!!' oh how we laughed then threw it in the bin 
I never know what to put down on CV's....always told by my peers I put too much detail

think you just have to consider a manager is going to sit there a read through a pile of them so just put something that stands out
