I also tested this yesterday
Various tests, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd gear....
Straight bit of road (quiet, middle of no-where), foot to floor, various speeds in above gears... Hands off wheel, car went in a dead straight line, every single time.
Aye, torque steer is awful 
Deano = Yeah, he had a pre production model that had the standard Astra suspension on it. Different dampers, different springs etc. I.e, like a boggo 1.6 setup...
