my mr2 turbo has run out of MOT and tax, but i need to get it to a powerflow dealer to have a 3in exhuast flexi welded in.
i have insurance but mno MOTor tax, so how can i legally get it to them??

doesnt the mot place have to be close to your house to get away with this? its like 35 miles away

The Police seem to be quite leniant with MOT`s (probably because its easy to forget.....) its tax their bothered about round here

with the tax i would be more concerned about their computer systems catching me than an actual plod on the road TBH

I was always sure if it was booked in with the garage, you were legally allowed to drive there?
Otherwise, if you've got a hole in your exhaust, you can't pass an MOT, so you can't buy tax!!!
As long as you drive straight there, and straight back, and the garage have a record of it should you get pulled over, you should technically be fine.
