Cars looking great I don't know whether to stick a C20LET or a C20XE engine in my Corsa SRi. Wot do you guys think?

Rick,

This JP Exhausts your always using.... You sware by them right? Im getting to the stage of thinking about a decent exhaust system for my Corsa (fed up with Powerflow muppets plus they won't make the bore I want).

Im after 2.75" system from Turbo (so downpipe will need to be made) straight through to a small backbox).

This time round I don't mind traveling to get an Exhaust made up if its defo going to be pukka quality (Im in the midlands). I've looked at their website and they look the business, just want your opinions before I give um a ring.

JP really are spot on. Big Rick there is really good, told him what i wanted then asked what he thought and he said "if i was you i would go understated one 3" pipe positioned correctly will be on the money" I had orrigionally wanted a twin tail pipe like i had on my corsa gsi but he said that would make the system louder.

IIRC they do a fair bit of work for some of the uk sports car companys.

Big update later as i am going to JP to collect it. Got a pair of new number plates for the mot and then i need to sling the interior back in it. O and i need to make it start properly without blocking the inlet pipe! lol

Yes it shud be done for PV i hope. Just waiting on some new wing bolts and the wing bolt nuts. TBH i cannot be arsed with the nova at the moment though, just want to drive this car!

Corsa now has 12 months mot and tax, a jp exhaust system and has been tracked. It just needs the rest of the interior pieces sourcing and fitting.

What sort of sound deadening do people advise i use? I need to apply it inside the doors etc.

I've always just Dynamat Extreme (The shiny silver one) on all my cars.... Can't fault it.

Your corsa looks spot on mate

your Nova hasnt been trailored through Stoke on Trent in the last few weeks has it? saw one that looked very similar recently

Nope the nova has not moved very far at all in the last 3 years! It will be coming home this coming week though. Possibly monday if the roads are dry.
