thinking my head may be on its way but its very very early days got somone off mig who can fix them
how much is going rate for someone just to remove it for me so i can send it off
then fit it all back on and get running again

Depends where you live because if you live down south you would be suprised how much more expensive labour is can be loads cheaper in the north so for someone like you who just needs labour if your in the north it should be cheaper but you can do it yourself especially if its a little engine but dont know what you got?

I live in surrey so everything is a rip off but i would have thought you would be looking at over 200 quid in labour but as i say i am down south so it may be cheaper in bradford hope it gave you an idea anyway not a quote just a slightly educated guess

not that much, i can take a head off a x20xev (in a astra) in less than 1.5hrs
but if its a in corsa might take longer, do it you self?
undo exhaust manifold, unplug wiring loom, undo head bolts (bit more difficcult than that, but still easy)

i know but your an enthusiast warren plus garage in surrey don't know about kent is between 70-120 pounds an hour total rip off

we charge 65+vat (72) which is cheap for a main dealer, vw are 110!

Thats what i mean bit of a rip in surrey when i used to work in a garage they were charging 60 odd and they were just an independent that was 3 years ago god knows how much now
