Not very practical mate, depends what route of styling your going down really. The ride is very harsh and you have to get arch work done at the back to stop them rubbing. I've gone back to 15's and sold my 17's now.

60mm on 16s with 195/45 tyres, still rubbed a fair bit even with the usual arch mods:

60mm on 16s with 195/40 tyres, didnt rub at all but with metal arch work etc:

dont know what on 17s with 205/40/17 falkens, rubbed like an absolute bitch:

then finally 17s on 195/40 tyre lowered again dont know how much as on coilovers, still rubbed with arches pulled out everything trimmed back etc:

best by far is 60mm on 16s or on coilovers wound right down:

I'm picking up -60mm springs this week, at the moment I have -40mm with Cav GSi 15s on 195/45/15s. With the -60 springs they shouldn't rub should they?

The Corsa here is 60mm with 17's

As this is with 17's and custom 80mm springs on the rear and 70mm on the front.

Doesn't scrub at all!!! Even 4 up. But thats probably down to the wheels perfect ET49 Offset.
