OMG that house is awsome, both inside and out !!

I must confess I never read all of that. I read some of it, and skipped through it looking at the progress pics. How much stress would that be to take on something like that, but the satisfaction at the end must be well worth it!! I'll read it all when I've got loads of time.

That has got to be the house of my dreams. !!!

Wow!! I've read it now, the stress of all that must have been immense. I remember watching a guy self build an eco friendly glass fronted house on TV. It was the same, if something could go wrong it did. He like this guy, also took on the roll of site manager even tho he had never built a house in his life

Well worth it in the end though, if I win the lottery I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse. I'm in love with that house and the location

Thats a really nice house. Considering its around a £250K build all in its once very nice house which I am sure is worth at least that.

250k plus land and all the other bits he mentioned, true the profit you would make would make it worthwhile... but i know richies parents built their house and have said they wouldnt do it again!
