My mate is currently having a dillema he has two choices

an Astra G SRi with these parts that haven't been put on yet :
Irmscher full airdam
Irmscher side skirts
Irmscher rear skirt
Irmscher bonnet extension
Irmscher signa 18" alloys (same as stavs)
Irmscher grille
VXR backbox etc

OR

An MR2 GT Turbo :

MR2 rev3 245bhp mid engined RWD
standard : 0-60 5.3s, 160mph
maybe upto 2280-290bhp in a year or so with around £1000 of work.

totally different cars so cant really compare them unless we know what he is looking for in a car...

Tbh he doesnt know wat he wants but they would both cost him about the same everything considered. So realy for him it comes down to looks with the astra or the power with the mr2 as you say two very different propsitions

Hmm very good cars but the integra dc5 is a much more enticing proposition but its not in budget. Although the MR2 does have Toyota VVTi im guessing its similar to Honda Vtec?

lol i do think it looks nice with full irmy kit on it suprisingly hard to find a pic of an astra with irmy kit on. Although MR 2 has plenty more potential!
