I keep seeing corsas about and I still dream of my old plans. I was originally planning on buying a vts or 106 gti for my next car but I could instead save some money and buy a fairly new corsa b, and spend some money on modifying it and get cheaper insurance at the same time. Otherwise it would be a 205 GTI. So whats peoples opinions, get a corsa 1.6 sport and modify it then xe it in the future, or just no?

Having owned both for a long time the gti/vts is the better bet IMO

The XE corsa aint any quicker than the other 2 and is no where near as good handling wise

plus the insurance on the XE corsa will be much higher

Number of reasons really, its a day to day car and its really not practical. Money is a big issue, and the local scene is really crap. Our clubs only road rally got cancelled this year because of locals threatening to jeapardise it and a lack of entries, it sucks.

absolute waste of time, a 106gti is just as quick and far more desireable. its been proven in such magazines as spiderman vs the 106gti, celebrity 106gti news, west cumberland 106gti farmers
