i have just had my engine fully rebuilt and now done my 500 miles i need to go back and have an oil and filter change, i want to buy my own oil and let them put it in which oil is the best to use.... x16xe by the way

I don't really rate it. It didn't seem to last very long in my old 1.2... Everyone else seems to like it though...

how do you mean it didnt last very long? if you mean it was being burnt off then surely thats a problem with the engine not the oil itself?

went down and have bought some got it for £18 for 5L... just gotta wait for the garage to be open now so can have it changed

No it just didn't seem to lubricate the engine as well for very many miles in comparison to some of the other stuff idiot.

I used Halfords 10w 40 fully synth in my corsa.

Yeah I use fully synthetic, dunno why you would want to use anything else.

castrol high milege i use.
nothing wrong with magnatec, synthetic is a bit too thin for my liking.
