Audi S2:

0-60 = 5.7s
0-100 = 16s
SQM = 14.5s.

4 wheel drive and 6 speed manual. Great build quality. Last for ages. Few on PH.

The words rover and turbo in the same sentence scare the living shit out of me... lol.. Forgot to add, I want it to be reasonably new, around 97 onwards..

Been doing insurance quotes and a T5-R estate is looking tempting..

Actually the rover 220 turbo is not 220bhp, its more like 200bhp. The 220 means it is a rover 200 with a 2.0 litre engine, hence a 216 is a rover 200 with a 1.6. I have a mate who has owned two rover 600 turbos (620ti) and he has had no problems with them! Very fast, very affordable and nice and big and comfortable. He actually has one for sale, S reg with around 50,000 miles, 2.0 16V turbo with boost control stainless cat back exhaust and K&N panel filter. Gorgeous car ill post pics up if anyones interested.

S2 over the T5-R any day of the week.

S2 is AWD, T5-R is FWD, and therefore gay.

Both sound as good, both have tuning options, one has more traction...

and the S2 is cheaper to insure

(RS2 is only 100 quid more to insure for me )
