was driving home last night, hit 4.5k revs and my ecu light came on and wouldnt let me rev any higher, never did this before and i had a new egr valve fitted that day
any ideas?

did it again just, only happens in 3rd and 4th, my engines a 12xe

faulty egr?
or afm error
as ive learnt u need to get it on diag machine to find out what errors have been logged and once you have that its a hell of a lot easyer to fix

well when it went on the diag last week it came up with egr and 02 sensor but they told me the 02 sensors affected by the egr valve, i never reset my ecu actualy when it was fitted so ill try that now...

sounds like egr problem then but then again if it was broke your replaired o2 could of gone it happens
