Daily run-about

the car originally:

started with some corsa sport stantard 3 spokes alloys

changed to these TSW freeze:

then bought a new backbox for £40 off ebay; a scorpion monza:

before:

fitted (not properly though):

Fitted an induction kit:

before:

after (with induction kit):

Then decided to lower the car, bought a new suspension kit, Spax -50mm VSX kit for £130 but unfortunately, the offset (ET38) of the TSW freeze would have caused a problem if lowered.

So went to halfords, argued/complained with them for wrong/misleading info and advice, got an exchange and some vouchers. Finally changed to some TSW pace ET42 alloys:

then lowered:

just after lowering:

fitted new badgeless grille:

then got some depo smoked headlights and new lights (thanks M15TXE):

smoked side repeaters followed:

de-badged:

from this:

to this:

got a new aerial and fiat marea wiper fitted, no pics though

not satisfied with the wheels, opted for a change and got some Speedline Mistral 7 off ebay for a bargain.Better looking and also better offset

started to repaint them:

washed with MrMuscle to remove dirt and grease ans started sanding to remove the scratches etc...

first coat of primer (testing)

more:

finally, after more sanding and smoothing, painted one steel grey:

But finally decided to go for matt black, laquered

and all fitted:

a new LAGUNA splitter fitted:

and a new OPEL grille:

As for the interior, some calibra leather seats:

and a new Momo RAce steering wheel and still waiting to fit all the Sparco pedals:

Engine:

there's a Adj Strut Brace fitted:

there's a de-restricted airbox back in place of the induction kit:

also have some 2l brake calipers fitted (not pics though)

that's it for now

planning on getting an A3 in the near future. Not bad in the 2 years I've been in the UK
