Just got my dbilas inlet fitted on sunday, car feels so different, massive improvement! Thanks to Tom for the good sale.

Just wondering what i should do to it next for more performance? So far ive got:

+ De-restricted Airbox (cold feeds / panel filter)
+ dbilas inlet manifold
+ Magnex 5x3 oval backbox

Hopefully i will get an x16xe in the future so i will be able to fit all the parts from this engine onto that.

Whats the best type of exhaust manifold to get ? 4-2-1 is more midrange isnt it ? It pulls like f**k after 5k with this inlet. Would it be worth getting better spark plugs and leads ?

Cheers,
Alex

I need to get the x16xe before i get the remap and cams though as im sure they will be different. The janspeed4-2-1 is goin for a good price on ebay, so i think ill get one of them.

The magnex de-cat's seem well priced too, will it still pass an mot with a decat ?

The protec one hangs low and bangs the floor on a low car.

The janspeed one is a good fit and well made and doesn't hit the floor.

Why don't you fit a de-cat and then put the cat on for MOT It's easy enough.

Not much gains though. Just seemed to pick up a bit quicker on my 1.6.
