Must be a northern thing.

I think alot of cars are due to fuckup in this season anyway, regardless of size or age.

C20XE came out in 1988 thats 18 years ogo
Most have had a hard life, and getting tired.

Most are on 100k+ which i dont think is to bad to say just an odd sensor fails here and there.

i ve only had two probs with my xe

1- snapped the back gearbox mount (it was gettin ragged of the line and ijust as i put it into 3rd *boom* only a minor prob-the astras/cavaliers/cavvys have 3 bolts for fixing it, but corsa has two, but with a custom made gearbox mount its all

2- think maybe the top end is ticking (prob the tappets) but it aint gettin looked at just now,as i ve got other things to spend my money on just now

but other than that its been ok,rain, frost, snow, sunny, wind

there is a lot of ruff conversions out there, and i think its just people that think "i want a xe" find someone who "knows" how to put it in,and jus throw it together. but i have respect for people who can do the conversion properly/safely without using the conversion kit.
