prices arnt to bad either

my gf needs to know this aswell

what i found tho you can get the BOSE ipod system in the US apple site for $299 which in pounds atm is roughly £150 but they wont send across...and on the Uk Apple shops the same BOSE system sells for £250 we are being ripped off!

are you looking for a dock only?

or speakers will do? Like the Harman Kardon Soundsticks II (which I would seriously recommend)

Altec Lansing inMotion iM7 is suppossed to be as good as the BOSE system but cheaper.

I wonder what the applie ipod hi-fi one is like as well.

dock so it charges, decent sound prefer quality and clarity over boom power, remote control as well.

ah ok, the Soundsticks won't charge it and no remote

BUT 9/10 sound quality. It's among the best system for music comparable to a Genesis 1.1

I just bought an Altec IM500 (nano only) for £67 on ebay and the sound quality is spot on for the size of the thing.

Usally £100, I know you'l maybe be able to snap up a Bose Ipod dock for £200.
