im slightly disapointed with you all in recommending this game.

it has made me feel the same as if i have paid to see a lebian show and been led to a room with 2 big butch heshes

shooting has crap sound FX, graphics are ok, team AI is crap etc


this is certainly not COD3

i guess your just not suited to it. it got 9.5+/10 in all reviews.

saying that it does take a while to get into it, used to the controls etc etc

i do love the hold A run function.

maybe ill see if i can get into it. but COD 3 i played and thought WOW this game is superb. GOW i thought its all a bit linear and pre set out, fire fights lack amosphere of COD3. Maybe it will get better as i go on

yep i kinda agree when i first loaded gow i thought uhh..ok.

when i first loaded cod3 i was straight into it.

but i got fully into GOW

1 hour or so into this game and still not feeling it. not atmospere in the battles, just a crouch behind the perfectly randow blocks of concrete and aim

as Steve says it takes a while to get into. Wait until you get the fully auto assault rifle and some of the better weapons

As for the graphics being average i think they're superb. COD3 must look pretty good as well if that's your opinion (must get this game )

COD 3 has atmosphere and looks. The scenery is superb in GOW but the locusts etc dont look too good and theres no proper rag doll physics like COD

Hardcore just makes everything a bit more frantic. On casual you can quite easily run and gun and it's all a bit too easy. Hardcore you have to think about what you're doing and use the cover as much as possible while trying to take potshots at the locusts.

I'd agree with physics side of things, i do like how they fly back though when you shoot them continuously in the chest
