Just logged on to my eBay to find a dispute claim against me.

The seller says I haven't paid for the item but I paid for the item the same day as I won the auction through paypal. I also have an email receipt from paypal to prove I paid and the amount I paid. And it shows up in my eBay as having been paid.

The dispute says that apparently we have both agreed not to go through with the transaction. This is the first I have heard of this so I dont know where thats come from! So I put no I haven't agreed this and also said about me having the email receipts etc. to prove I have paid! The seller is also trying to get his eBay selling fees refunded but he can GTF.

Seems very strange to me as I paid a week ago and can prove I did yet he is able to file an unpaid item dispute against me? How the hell does that work?!

Have you received your item?

Maybe mail the seller and ask for an explanation.

No haven't received the item. Reason I logged into my eBay account today was that I was about the send him a question asking if he had dispatched it yet.

Maybe the seller does not want to sell to you for the amount you bid. If you agree with the dispute he gets his ebay fee's back.

I had this. However, I just went into Paypal and filed an item not received claim and needless to say, he soon stopped the "item not paid for" dispute

I've had a reply off him. He said he has had disputes filed against a few other people this past week due to some sort of error but he has sorted it now and he's sending the item out this week.

don't forget that you have only 45 days to file a claim in Paypal.

6 months for a chargeback
