Etc..Looking to do something like this part time/open uni etc. Would benefit my own business and give me something to do as I do have a lot of free time on my hands and it's starting to effect me

Has anyone done this sort of thing, I did a google but couldn't find a lot. Accounts management, advertising etc, anything related to running a business would interest me

Any ideas?

im doing businesss and management so a pretty similar course, im doing it full time though.
if you already have your own business i would suggest looking t something a bit more focused as there isnt really that much depth to any of the subject areas on my course

To be honest mate I think you would find it all pretty easy and boring at uni. My mate has his own business, went to uni and ended up teaching his class mates what to do

However i'm about to embark on a CIPD, HUman Resources course. I'm sure there is a similar qualification for marketers etc

I dont think this is true!

I am in my last year of a business management degree, and some of the stuff we learn (the theory, etc.) is something that 99% of business owners will never have come across. Yeah they'll know some of it, but nowhere near enough to be teaching the class...not what they should be knowing anyway!

My Dad has owned his over business for years and years (wealth management aswell) but some of the stuff I come back with he hasnt heard or come across before!
