All PS3's games are region free

USA, Japanese,UK games will work on any PS3 machine!

But if you have UK PS1/PS2 games-will not work on Japanese/USA machines.

With BluRay DVD's it only plays BluRays from USA and Japan.

As most people will tell you, DVD's from USA are generally better, as more extras and not cut as much as UK releases!
