Okay, so I've been driving my corsa for over a month now and noticed a slight issue with the engine,
Say, I was coming down to an island @ 70mph down to 30mph quickly the car would do that, but the engine feels like it has a delay lol!
now the car hasnt got a rev counter but the best way to describe it is the cars gone from 70 -> 30 but the engine is a few seconds behind and sounds like it to.
The car runs smooth and after the engine has slowed down it runs fine off the island, just wondered if anyone knew anything like this?
I'll try and explain more if people are confused!

couild be idle control valve mate, this is what happened on mine. Does it ever reve itself or owt?

Yes, but only marginally, sometimes it dips randomly aswell, usually @ traffic lights I notice the dips,
how did you rectify it?

Idle control valve...
clean it with carb cleaner... or take it out and do it properly!
should be a "how to" somewhere on this site, probably in - frequently asked questions...
