Well Ive had the Tuscan about a month now so I thought Id share what its been like!!!

Ill start with how things have broken I guess!!!

First little thing was a frayed accelerator cable which I noticed the day I got the car home - Replaced it myself (£40) and claimed it back on the warranty.

Took the car for a service then at an independant dealer, just cos Im anal and wanted to make sure there were no major faults with the car before the warranty expired and also to get my rear cans sleeved. Service went well, no major issues, all the usual major things that wear on the speed six engine (cams, finger follwers, valve stem seals) were ok, only faults found were a split HT lead, a loose gear lever, a leaky oil pressure sender and one valve that had to be shimmed on the clearance test. Happy days! After the service it really was like a different car, less noisy, smoother, nicer idle and the sleeved cans sound awesome with loads of flamage and bangs on the over-run!

Then this weekend the wipers stopped working. Checked the fuse box and the fuse was blown - Easy fix so I thought. Anyway it just kept blowing them. Bit of fettling and Id found the car had got water in the wiper motor - Cleaned and dried and all is ok (for now) but I have a feeling it will pack up soon! Also, since Ive had the car the heater has never got warm so while I had the bonnet off I did a bit of investigation - Flap motor knackered!!! Which is now on order!

So yeah, TVR's are like people say - Niggly and pretty unreliable! But I love it! Forgot how enjoyable it was tinkering with my own car again (the P1 was so reliable I never got chance!)

On the road its awesome, the noise, acceleration and prescence is like nothing Ive ever experienced!

One little vid my mate shot the other day! Ill get a few more as and when!!!

Sounds like your having fun anyway!!!

Whats the total in repairs so far? I think you should have a total amount running in your sig so we can see how unreliable they really are!! ha

Looks good

Those wee things that break wouldnt put me off one bit, I enjoy spending 4 hrs on a sunday afternoon trying to make the wipers work again

Hopefully the engine wont prove to be an issue if serviced regularly
